Description This action set inspired by nature creates a textured wood border with bark-like text and optional foliage. Make your text look like it was just carved out of the woods! This effect actually contains two actions. The first one, "Bark", creates the wood border and barky interior, and the second action "Foliage" adds the leafy appearance at the top.

Duplicate this layer and call it "Blue". Go to Image > Adjustments > Color Balance Set the color levels to 0,0,+100 Tone levels : Midtones and check the preserve luminosity box

Now, the moon. Select the background layer, create new layer above it, and use shape tool, or white brush, to draw a white circle. Then, use layer effects to add outer glow with settings similar to shown here.

There you go (by no means 'finished' in the details but)...a lot of things covered in this deviant art style tutorial that will give you a lot of knowledge to harness the power of Photoshop to let YOUR creativity run wild!

[12] See below for final photoshop output image. I hope this is a good tutorial and you can use these photoshop tips in your graphics design project.

In this tutorial we will be using Selective color to Bring some more vibrant color to a photo and take away some colors. Selective color allows you to change the colors within the color. This tutorial is wrote for most anyone with little photoshop knowledge to understand.

Select the layer of Photo 2, go to Layer --> New Adjustment Layer --> Color Balance and do as the picture below:

In this tutorial I will show you a quick way to apply animal skin to your text. This process is simple and easy for all to understand with little Photoshop knowledge.

Next Duplicate your Text layer and CTL+Click on the text layer copy to make a selection (you should see marching-ants around your text now) and go to Select>Modify>Contract.

*Note - for diffrent light exposures of some photos you may have to play around a bit more. * Replace Color may not work well with over exposed photos.

For the animation click the add new frame in the animation palette and each one we click the sun layer and move it up just a few pixels. I created 11 layers in this animation. Around the 6th layer start to increase the opacity on the orange layer. just 2-3% each frame. See the examples below.

Ok, now go to Image - Adjustment - Color Balance and give the photo a green look. Shadows(0;91;35), Midtones(0;69;36), Highlights(0;55;20)
